How Can I Assist YOU with your student?
How?
Together we work on becoming Educated about your child or Teen's ADD/ADHD--Education is the key!
Then together we develop a plan
- I work with your son or daughter to determine what works best for them in the classroom setting-what can we do to level the playing field?
- Your student and I will search for their strengths, and tricks for HOW they pay attention.
How?
- I go over the IEP or 504 Plan with you and the school OR together we create a plan using you student's strengths and Interests. From there we determine goals and/or classroom accommodations, and work with the school to assist your student's success!
What are your rights and fears?
- I work with you and your child on self esteem and self advocacy, so that together you are able to ask the right questions.
- As a parent you learn to understand the needs of your child and how that translates into the classroom environment. YOU learn to advocate for and work with teachers and administrators to develop your child's academic curriculum.
- As a family , you are all on the same page, are pro-active and working together as a team with each other and your school.
- As your Coach, I am always there by your side to assist, educate, and help you prepare and attend the meetings.

Goals May Consist of developing systems for:
First, discovering your ADD/ADHD and your Gifts!
Then we use those, and your learning style to work together to establish tricks for
Organization
Time Management: Meeting deadlines, arriving on time, prioritizing
Relationships--Taking time to pause and think, and to recognize the need for support~
career choices and examine Belief systems getting in your way
And you keep a record so that you can refer to what Works for you~
